Wool Handling Demonstration All Day Event

Postponed!!

To:  All Shearers, Licenced Operators and Wool Depots

Ref:  Wool Handling Demonstration - revised date

CCWG is pleased to extend an invitation to all shearers, licenced operators and wool depots for a wool handling demonstration that will be held to highlight the benefits of proper fleece preparation. By following a few basic management steps it enables us to achieve greater handling efficiency and permits us to present our product to the market place for maximum revenue opportunity. There will be a tour of the Carleton Place wool grading warehouse that will follow the steps on how wool is handed from receiving through to the graded product that is ready for shipment. Wool videos will also be available along with the various printed material that CCWG has assembled to illustrate preferential wool harvesting procedures.
A hands on demonstration will be given by Jim McNeely, long time wool grading superintendent and his staff from the CCWG wool grading facility at Carleton Place, Ontario.
This free event is being hosted by CCWG.  Please telephone 613-257-2714 or email ccwghq@wool.ca by Friday, March 24th to confirm your attendance.

It will be held on Friday, March 31st and the program will commence at 1:00 pm. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held on another Friday.

We encourage everyone with an interest in wool handling to participate.
If you require any further information please contact me.
Yours truly,
