Characteristics of Newfoundland Sheep

General Appearance – Medium-sized, hardy heritage sheep. Most commonly white, but black and brown individuals occur. Both horned and polled animals exist, with rams more frequently horned. Adapted to harsh coastal climates and rugged terrain.
